ATS
Traffic Pte Ltd is Singapore’s
major traffic engineering specialist contractor, providing
customized traffic control products and specialist
services; ranging from flashing LED road studs, LED
flashing pedestrian beacons to retrofitting of nationwide
LED traffic lights, traffic control equipment, expressway
monitoring and data collection systems, etc.
ATS Traffic
had been registered as one of only few major traffic
lights contractor under the contractor registry of
the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore
with a Financial Grade of L5.
ATS Traffic has
been providing customized traffic products and/or
solutions to various clients including :-
· Land Transport Authority
· Jurong Town Corporation
· Defence Science and Technology Agency
· Ministry of Defence
· Major MNCs and GLCs
· Major Civil Engineering Contractors
KSL Engineering Pte Ltd is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of ATS Traffic. Its core business and experiences
are the provision of specialised electrical engineering
works and services related to the installation, modification
and upgrading of roadway and infrastructure equipment.
FiT Transport Systems Pte Ltd is
a partially-owned subsidiary of ATS Traffic. Its core
business and experiences are the provision of all
engineering and support services to traffic monitoring
and traffic data collection systems and equipment
along all the expressways in Singapore, including
CCTV and VMS systems.
Within the ATS Traffic
group, we have more than 40 well-trained
and experienced field engineers and technicians who
are specialised in various aspects of traffic engineering,
including customisation, programming, modifications,
fine-tuning, calibration, upgrades and field repairs.
ATS Traffic Company History
ATS Traffic
was established in Singapore in May 1998 via a joint
venture between two industry veterans and a well established
traffic systems solution provider from Australia,
AWA Plessey Pty Limited (later known as Plessey Asia
Pacific Pty Limited).
The Company was initially known as AWA Plessey Traffic
Systems Pte Ltd.
The Company was subsequently renamed ATS
Traffic Pte Ltd in January 2001 when
Plessey Asia Pacific Pty Limited indirectly sold its
stake in the Company to Tyco International Ltd.
From January 2001 to September 2004, ATS
Traffic operated under the Tyco Fire
& Security Asia group.
In October 2004, the local shareholders of ATS
Traffic completed the acquisition
of all the shares in the Company that was indirectly
owned by Tyco International Ltd, thereby making the
Company a fully locally-owned entity.
ATS Traffic,
since becoming an independent local company, continues
to be a fully authorized distributor for Tyco Traffic
& Transportation, Australia’s specialised
traffic products and services; including SCATS®
Adaptive Traffic Control system from Sydney, Australia.
The Company has grown from an annual revenue of approximately
S$3M in FY1998 with about 8 staff to an annual revenue
of approximately S$13m in FY2007 with more than 70
staff in its group.
Since its inception, the Company had successfully
executed and delivered more than S$66M worth of projects
and are currently halfway in completing another S$52M
worth of projects.
